Hello! My nickname is “rice”. First, I introduce myself and this blog.
I’m a Japanese OL. (OL means “office lady”. Women who work at an office.)
I was born in the local city in the Kanto area in the latter half of the 1980s. I live and work in Tokyo now. I live with my husband.
The reason why I start to write this blog
Recently globalization has progressed in Japan. Many foreigners visit Japan. Olympic Games will hold in Tokyo in 2020. Many of my friends go abroad to work. I may go abroad for a job someday or may work with foreigners in Japan, but I have never stayed abroad for a long time except for traveling overseas for several weeks.
Then I decided to study English by writing an English blog! I have studied English for more than 10 years …but I cannot speak English well. Sometimes I take an English conversation lesson on Internet, but I can’t speak well what I want to say…because I have a small vocabulary. I want to learn English vocabulary by writing this blog. Sometimes there may be mistakes in this blog…Sorry(>_<) If you find terrible mistakes, please let me know.
What I want to write in this blog
I introduce my Japanese daily life on this blog for people who are interested in Japan.
I want to talk about the daily life of Japanese(Tokyo) people, popular places and things in Japan, Japanese culture and customs, and so on in this blog.
I would like to write a useful blog
for people planning to visit Japan,
for people who like Japanese pop culture
for people who are interested in Japanese culture and tradition.
